Palmerston Place Church, Edinburgh

We have a spaces available within  Annan House (located next to the Church at 10 Palmerston Place) and the Church itself. These spaces are for hire either individually or collectively. Our priorities are to use our premises for Christian activities or activities that undertaken by registered charities or groups looking to promote community activity.

We have outstanding transport links being close to Haymarket Train Station, Haymarket and West End Tram Stops and a large number of bus options. On-street car parking is available from 6.30pm.

Annan House

Our rooms are best suited to meetings and  lectures. Within Annan House we have three meeting rooms ;

Lounge (Ground floor, accessible) – Casual setting with seating for up to 16 people. There is no AV capacity in this room.

Room 1 (Ground floor, accessible– Is a rectangular room with AV facilities. It takes up to 30 people in rows, up to 20 people around tables.

Carlow (First floor, access via stairs)– Is is a large L shaped room with AV facilities. It can take up to 42 people in rows (theatre style) and around 24 people around tables.

Please note, we do not hire rooms by the hour. Rooms are available on a ‘Half-day’ (up to 4 hours) or ‘Full-Day’ basis.

Sanctuary

The Sanctuary (Ground level – with a ramp for those unable to access via front steps)  is available to hire as a venue for concerts, conferences or large meetings. Please note we do not hold a year round theatre licence.

Any concerts requiring the use of either the organ or the piano must be approved by our Director of Music.

If you wish to use the AV system or the sound system you must provide an operator – training can be given in advance.

Groups hiring are responsible for the stewarding of their event and the security of the building for the period of their rental.
